National Maritime Museum Greenwich Events
**CLOSED FOR REFURB**
Overlooking the River Thames from the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Royal Museums Greenwich, the National Maritime Museum is a crystallisation of British seafaring history. Surrounded by narratives of ocean exploration and victory, it’s a unique dry hire venue that makes an unforgettable backdrop for corporate functions, social events and weddings.
The adventure theme flows throughout all levels of the museum, from the awe-inspiring Great Map Room, where a world map design sprawls across the floor, to the Photography Gallery, where rows of jaw-dropping astrophotographs reveal priceless images of the solar system. It’s an eclectic multi-level events venue that allows you to access the remarkable exhibits after hours. The sky’s the limit for events at the National Maritime Museum.
Housed in a striking Victorian building that points towards the riverbank, the National Maritime Museum is a spectacular blend of the old and new. The museum is spanned by a high glass roof, which naturally illuminates the event spaces during the day, and creates a vibrant nighttime scene as the colourful up-lights begin to work their magic.
