Merriscourt Oxfordshire

We chose Merriscourt as our wedding venue because of the dreamy, private setting; the ability to have the wedding party stay on site; and the option to enjoy the space for more than just one day. When looking for a venue, it was such a rarity to find a barn-like setting in the Cotswolds with longer access times. Being in and out in one day just wasn't an option for us, when we planned to put so much time and effort into the most important event of our lives. Having just had our wedding, I can confidently say that booking this venue was one of the best decisions we made.

We had an absolutely perfect wedding at Merriscourt, with everything made so easy for us by the incredible team. Nothing was too much trouble and we loved having the venue to ourselves for the whole weekend. It meant we could settle in the day before, set everything up and have a run through of the ceremony which meant that the big day felt so calm and went so smoothly. The whole Merriscourt team were amazing at listening to what we wanted and making it happen - nothing was too much trouble and they brought our vision to life.

Our dream venue delivered our dream day. Merriscourt allowed us to do things our way in the most beautiful setting. All our guests commented on how wonderful the venue was. The day went without a hitch from start to finish. The venue works so well for the flow of events - we had always wanted to be there to greet all our guests pre-ceremony and wanted minimal waiting around time after the ceremony - we got everything we wanted and couldn't have asked for the day to flow more perfectly.
