Belair House Weddings

This Dulwich wedding venue feels a world away from the hectic bustle of central London, yet it’s only a 15-minute train journey from London Victoria Station. Have you always dreamed of a traditional manor house wedding venue in a quaint country village, with enchanting rose gardens and endless outdoor photo opportunities? Well, you’ve come to the right place. Belair House is a fairy tale wedding backdrop on the cusp of the city.

The Scene at Belair House Dulwich

Set in breathtaking parkland, next to the characterful Dulwich Village, Belair House is a symmetrical white Georgian manor house that is adored by brides and grooms around the UK and abroad for its heritage style. Its tranquil surroundings and enchanting aesthetic make it the ‘English rose’ of London wedding venues.

Belair House boasts large sash windows in every function room, as well as a romantic Juliet Balcony to the rear, where brides love to throw their bouquets into the hands of the next bride-to-be below. The multiple windows look out onto panoramic Belair park views, and act as a constant reminder of the evergreen beauty that surrounds the property.

The manor house is also fully licensed for civil ceremonies in the Ballroom, so you’re able to celebrate all sections of the wedding day in one picturesque place.

Wedding Ceremonies at Belair House

Ceremony Highlights:

  • Fully licensed for civil wedding ceremonies in the first-floor ballroom
  • Dedicated wedding coordinator to help with all aspects of the ceremony

Belair House in Dulwich is perfect for intimate wedding ceremonies. The licensed ceremony room is located on the first floor via a glamorous red staircase, and this original architectural feature makes a stunning photo moment as the couple descend the steps as newlyweds, showered in confetti.

The understated Ballroom is beautifully suited to wedding ceremonies at all times of the year. You could decorate the room with glittery white and gold colours to embrace a winter theme, or go bold with bright pops of colour throughout the summer. Whatever you have in mind, the creative in-house wedding team will be able to envision what you’re hoping for.

Southwark Registry Office will be able to discuss availability with you, and confirm a date at Belair House to host your ceremony. Alternatively, there are a range of churches nearby if you would prefer to marry in a place of worship. With plenty of options available, the Belair House team will make your day as seamless and stress-free as possible.

Such a stunning wedding venue and really friendly team that seem to work well together. I enjoyed working with the team at Belair House and would 100% recommend them.

We're still floating from the day and getting so many compliments about the venue. You all went above and beyond and I've been recommending Belair as a venue ever since. We wish we could do it all over again! Thank you again for everything. It was honestly so amazing having your support, experience and humour. We would have been lost without you.

The new management gave us first class service. They provided us with an excellent lunch and the staff were helpful, courteous and discreet. They efficiently catered to all our needs. They have refurbished and tastefully redecorated the interior bringing the beautiful Georgian Mansion back to life.
