The Wool Mill Melbourne Corporate Functions & Events
Just a short tram ride from the Melbourne CBD is the trendy suburb of Brunswick East, and down a winding brick-lined laneway is the Wool Mill; the location of your next corporate function. A popular events space, the Wool Mill is a historic warehouse that has been converted into a premier multi-level events space. An 8m sawtooth ceiling lets plenty of natural light into the space, and exposed black timber beams and white brick walls evoke an industrial aesthetic.
Your event can occur across multiple unique events spaces: with pre-function champagne and canapes in the upscale Cocktail Lounge; a seated dinner in the impressive Feasting Hall; after-dinner drinks in the glamorous Speakeasy Bar; then back into the Laneway for food truck desserts and late-night snacks. A private greenroom is located onsite for special presenters, guest speakers, or musicians.
Advertised as a blank canvas venue, the Wool Mill also supplies a considerable amount of furnishings, including:

No matter what kind of corporate event you’re hosting – a celebratory dinner, awards evening, special presentation, Christmas party – it’s important to have the right catering service lined up. Though they don’t supply catering inhouse, the Wool Mill partners with Refresh Hospitality to provide gourmet meals for their events. Refresh Hospitality are known for their decadent shared feasts and specialise in cocktail canapes, plated meals, and delicious grazing tables. External caterers and BYO drinks are welcomed upon approval from the Wool Mill.

The team at The Wool Mill were absolute life savers when we needed to find a bigger venue for our wedding reception to allow for all of our guests to attend under Covid restrictions. We had originally planned to have our wedding out in the countryside, but if we had been looking for an urban venue I would have jumped on this place in a heartbeat from the very beginning! The team were fantastic to deal with from the very first email, supportive and helpful and on the day keeping everything running smoothly (I basically didn't have to worry about a thing venue wise on the day!). The space is absolutely beautiful, light and bright and open, and so many of our guests now have profile pictures from that day because of the beautiful backgrounds!

What a magical venue! Recently visited the Wool Mill as a guest of a wedding and I just fell in love with the place. The high ceilings, flowers, plants, lighting and decor...it’s all just so beautifully designed and well thought out! I love the different spaces as well - there’s a cocktail area, speakeasy bar, ceremony room and a feasting hall and this was all part of the wedding at different stages of the night. I would definitely recommend this place for a wedding, engagement party, corporate or other special event. I hope to be back soon for another event one day :-)

There are 9 VIP car spaces at The Wool Mill that are usually dedicated to suppliers (caterer, DJ, photographer, VIPs). There are 180 car spaces directly facing the venue on Donald Street, and side street parking brings the total to 240 all day spots for your guests.
The Wool Mill usually works with Refresh Hospitality who specialise in shared dining, cocktail events, plated dining, and more. The team can recommend other caterers as well.
