Looking out from Max’s Restaurant on your wedding day, you’ll see exactly how the golden afternoon sun drapes over the Mornington Peninsula winery, bringing the spectacular scene to life. It’s from this vantage point that you’ll overlook the entire property, including the award-winning vines, and beyond to Western Port Bay. The main dining area is glass-walled on three sides, ensuring your guests never cease to marvel at the advantageous hilltop perch.

The interior of Max’s Restaurant feels warm and inviting with contemporary decor and touches of timber and greenery. Menus are prepared by executive chef Max Paganoni, using locally sourced ingredients and championing home-grown wines. Considering any special requests or dietary requirements, you have your choice of catering options from seated affairs to feasting platters and BBQs.

There are three spaces at the venue: the Lawn, ideal for ceremonies, the Terrace, and the Restaurant. A popular track for weddings here begins with the ceremony out on the Lawn, before heading up onto the Terrace for pre-reception canapes, and then into the Restaurant for dinner.

Even though you’ll be saying your vows beneath the wide-open sky, ceremonies at Red Hill Estate still manage to feel intimate. Most couples opt to host their ceremony on the beautiful lawn area with rows of elegant white chairs, a white or red carpet on the aisle, and an arbour standing before rows of lush green vines. Holding your ceremony on the Terrace is also an option.

Red Hill Estate offers ceremony-only packages, supplying a registry table, two wine barrels, and the property for photographs. Acoustic music is appreciated at Red Hill Estate weddings as it is cohesive with the serene atmosphere.

For the reception, guests can make their way towards the Terrace at their leisure, where you may choose to serve pre-reception cocktails and canapes. From the Terrace, you’ll be privy to 180-degree views of the rolling Mornington Peninsula hills, Western Port Bay, and Phillip Island.

Heading into Max’s Restaurant for the reception, you’ll find that the event staff have arranged the tables to your exact specifications; whilst leaving plenty of room for a DJ or live band.
