As for the ceremony, choose between the private Officers’ Mess, the Officers’ Mess balcony or the sun-drenched Conservatory, complete with large French windows and lush greenery, creating a natural and beautiful backdrop.

Kittyhawk Sydney Wedding Ceremonies

There are three options for you to have your ceremony at Kittyhawk:

• The exclusive and private Officers’ Mess can hold ceremonies near the bar, allowing you to create your own backdrop with the whole room — and your guests — in front of you.
• The Officers’ Mess Balcony, which is open and more casual, with light flooding in through the balcony windows
• For a truly romantic setting, choose to get married in the Conservatory. It has large French windows for natural daylight and plenty of greenery for a natural yet classy affair that doesn’t require additional decoration.

If you’d rather have your ceremony off-site, choose to get married at the nearby Royal Botanic Gardens – one of Sydney’s most iconic spots with a dramatic backdrop – Aurora Place, or the State Library of NSW, all within walking distance of Kittyhawk.

Kittyhawk Sydney Wedding Receptions

Receptions at Kittyhawk come with black linen tablecloths, personalised menus, cake and gift table, and candles throughout the space. All areas are decked out in vintage Parisian-style décor and subtle hints of WWII memorabilia, creating a chic and stylish venue for any wedding reception.

For wedding receptions at Kittyhawk, you have four options to choose from: 

• The Officers’ Mess: A private level with its own access. With bathrooms, bar and wait staff, this space allows for true privacy for you and your guests. This flexible area can be made up in a variety of seating options for seated or cocktail-style events and allows up to 175 guests. Organise your own entertainment or make use of the music in the main bar. Canapés and sit-down menus available.
• The Conservatory: Holds 25 guests seated or 100 guests cocktail style. With French windows, hanging plants, decorated walls and intimate seating, this semi-private area is perfect for a smaller wedding that doesn’t require extra decoration.
• The Kittyhawk: Hire the Kittyhawk, which includes the Lounge and the Conservatory, for exclusive use and have up to 110 seated or 175 cocktail guests. When hiring the whole of Kittyhawk, you can choose to have your own menu and music.
• The whole venue: Both Kittyhawk and the Officers’ Mess, with a capacity of up to 350 guests. Make use of the entire space spread across two floors, with different rooms for flexibility. Choose configurations that suit you, bring your own decorations or enjoy what’s already there.
