As the weather warms up in Australia, we’re reminded of the iconic brands that rolled out creative activations – both past and current. From beach pop-ups to outdoor festivals, these campaigns embraced the sunny season with fresh ideas that captured the essence of summer fun.

Here are some standout product activations that are getting us excited for long days and warm nights ahead!

Giorgio Armani x Little Beach House

Giorgio Armani and seaside cocktails in Malibu: name a more iconic duo. The Italian fashion house hosted an array of red carpet celebrities at its Mare collection pop-up at Little Beach House. Styled in soothing shades of blue, the chic boutique embodied an elegant summer atmosphere, complete with beach-inspired furniture and woven mannequins. Where do we sign up?

Armani partnered with the One Ocean Foundation, a non-profit committed to protecting marine ecosystems and fostering a sustainable blue economy. The collection featured airy ready-to-wear designs in linen and brushed cotton, leather and raffia accessories, sun-kissed beauty shades, and newly launched solid teak outdoor furniture. After starting its journey in Trani, Italy, the collection toured through Sardinia, Tuscany, Tokyo, and Sylt before arriving on the California coast.

Le Carillon Portofino Beach Club x Dolce&Gabbana

Le Carillon Portofino Beach Club is home to Dolce&Gabbana’s latest Verde Maiolica pattern, celebrating the coastal allure of Southern Italy. The vibrant white and green design evokes the rich aromas and colours of the Mediterranean, blending heritage with timeless elegance to bring the beach club to life. The #MadeInItaly story continues at the exclusive pop-up store, featuring a curated selection of the brand’s clothing and accessories. Meanwhile, the Vesta restaurant serves dishes inspired by Italian culinary traditions, all set against the stunning backdrop of Portofino.

This exclusive pop-up store naturally celebrates Dolce&Gabbana’s artistry, featuring a curated selection of the brand’s fashion and accessories, ensuring every moment is lived with style and elegance.

Nespresso Plage ‘Californian Dream’ Pop-Up Installation

Earlier this year in May, the iconic Nespresso Beach relocated to the Palais Stéphanie beach for the Cannes Film Festival.

Staying true to tradition, Nespresso Beach buzzed with the celebration of coffee, capturing the essence and flavours of summer. Presenting a Mediterranean atmosphere with vibrant, 70s-inspired pop colours, it hosted exclusive events featuring renowned chefs, baristas, and food enthusiasts.

The beach experience was elevated with the introduction of the Nespresso Kiosk, offering visitors the chance to purchase the new summer collection products, along with pre-stamped postcards showcasing the event’s scenery. A Nespresso mailbox allowed guests to send these postcards directly from the beach. By embracing the natural charm of the beach and its relaxed atmosphere, Nespresso found the perfect setting to align with their latest products and collections, appealing to both coffee lovers and beachgoers alike.

La Prairie Skin Caviar Mobile Pop-Up Spa

To mark the 25th anniversary of their iconic caviar collection and the launch of the remastered Skin Caviar Luxe Cream, La Prairie hosted a luxurious summer event in the Hamptons. The event took place over five days at The Wine Stand at Wölffer Estate Vineyard and private homes, featuring a cobalt blue airstream pop-up spa adorned with custom florals. A private spa area provided guests with exclusive treatments, while others explored the product displays showcasing the full range, including the new Luxe Cream available for purchase only at the event.

The festivities began with an influencer lunch followed by complimentary Skin Caviar treatments. As the event opened to the public, guests enjoyed personalised skincare consultations, discovery sessions, and the opportunity to be among the first to buy the Luxe Cream. Complimentary samples and relaxing seating areas completed the experience, allowing visitors to soak up the summer sun with their freshly pampered skin.
